I certify that I am a tax, accounting, or legal professional in good standing, and that I am subscribing to use WageDefender solely to prepare reasonable-compensation documentation for my third-party clients in the course of my professional practice. I will not generate reports for my own entity or for any entity in which I or an immediate family member hold a material ownership interest. I acknowledge that WageDefender is not a law firm, accounting firm, or tax advisor; it is a software tool that produces documentation only from the information I provide. It does not recommend compensation benchmarks, interpret IRS guidance, or opine on audit risk, and I am solely responsible for my professional judgment, the accuracy of the inputs, and any advice I give my clients. Each report I generate will disclose that it was prepared by me using WageDefender, which bears no responsibility for its contents. I authorize WageDefender to verify my professional credential (such as my PTIN, CPA license, or bar number) and to audit my compliance with this certification, including requesting documentation of my client engagements, and I understand WageDefender may suspend or revoke my access if my credential cannot be verified, if this certification is untrue, or if I violate it.

What the trial gives you. Your trial runs for 14 days, and the 14 days start the day you submit your first client, not the day you sign up. During the trial you can produce up to 25 reports on screen and release one report under your own firm branding. If you never submit a client, the trial closes 30 days after you sign up.
What WageDefender does. WageDefender documents reasonable compensation for the S corporation owners you choose to document, and produces a written report with the analysis behind the number. It is a documentation tool for your practice. It does not give tax advice, and the professional judgment on every engagement stays yours.
What we do with the information you enter. We use the client information you enter to produce your reports and to run the service for you. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone outside the people and vendors who operate WageDefender for us, and we do not use one firm's client data to build products for another firm. Trial data is handled exactly the way paid data is handled.
Your clients, your relationship. You are the professional of record with your clients. You are responsible for having the permissions you need before you enter a client's information, and for what you tell your clients about the report.
What the trial costs. The trial is free. Saving a card does not start a plan and does not charge you. Nothing is charged when the trial ends.
Ending the trial. You can stop at any time. Reports you generated during the trial stay readable after the trial closes, and a report you already released under your firm branding stays available to download.
Changes. If we change these terms we will give the new version its own number, and the version you accepted is the one recorded against your account.
Saving your card
You are saving a card today. You are not paying today, and your trial is free. By saving this card you allow WageDefender to charge it for a WageDefender plan, and only after you pick a plan and press the confirm button in your account. The amount is the published price of the plan you pick, and the exact total is shown on that screen before you confirm. After the first charge, the same plan price repeats every billing period until you cancel. If you never pick a plan, this card is never charged. Nothing is charged when your trial ends. During the trial this card is not charged, and you can ask us to remove it at any time. Once you start a plan, you can cancel the plan or change or remove the card at any time from your billing page.
